If you're reading this article there are good chances that you're not happy about your hair... Probably your hair routine provides that you wash every two days, your ends are either dry or split and your scalp gets oily in no time. If that's the case, no worries you're not alone and we're here to help you! Here our "How to WOW hair" guide.
Diet
Firstly first you have to consider that "we are what we eat". This means that to be beautiful and healthy on the outside you have to eat beautiful and healthy food (and drinks loads of water per day). There are no excuses!
Generally speaking, it's always a great idea to eat natural and organic food that can provide you with the right amount of nutrients like carbs, proteins, fat, vitamins, minerals and so on. To help you, we selected five food that will improve your hair, and your body as well.
Eggs provide protein
Your hair is made up of protein, therefore it is important to ensure that you have enough protein in your diet. Protein is the building block of hair and eggs are one of the richest natural sources of protein.
Spinach and Other Dark Leafy Greens Provide Iron
Iron is an essential mineral that your hair cells require. In fact, a deficiency of iron in the body may cause hair loss. When your body is running low on iron, oxygen and nutrients are not getting transported to the hair roots and follicles adequately which can inhibit growth and make your strands weak.

Citrus Fruits to Get Your Dose of Vitamin C
Your body requires Vitamin C for iron absorption, therefore you need to add citrus fruits to your diet. Nutritionists recommend that one lime per day is enough to get your daily dose of Vitamin C. Vitamin C is also required for the production of collagen that makes capillaries that connect to the hair shafts strong thus, ensuring regular supply of nutrients and quick hair growth.

Nuts and Seeds for Omega-3 Fatty Acids
Omega-3 fatty acids nourish the hair and support thickening. Since your body cannot produce these healthy fats, you need to derive them from your diet. Almonds and walnuts are really high in Omega-3 fatty acids. Similarly, flaxseeds can serve as a mid-meal healthy snack while also supplying the essential fats to your hair.
Avocado Offers Vitamin E
Vitamin E improves the blood circulation and helps the follicles work more efficiently to promote hair growth. It also maintains the oil and PH levels balance which if exceeds can clog the hair follicles and stop hair growth. Avocado is a great source of Vitamin E and it is also rich in the heart-healthy monounsaturated fats. You can add it to your breakfast salad or blend it into a green smoothie.
Washing & Conditioning
Now that we're treating our self from the inside to the outside, it's time to have a look at how you can improve your hair-care routine to achieve WOW hair within one month. However, you have to be aware that everyone is different and something this guide may or may not work for you. Our honest advice is to start from here and then personalise your routine as appropriate.
Let's get clean
These are the two most important questions to answer: what do you use to wash your hair? How often do you wash? If your answer is "drugstore shampoo" and "every one to two days", there are no surprises that your hair aren't WOW at the moment. But things will change darlin'.
Firstly first, go for professional products and, if possible, buy natural and organic! The quickest test that you can do is observe the foam that shampoo makes: if it's nice and foamy throw it in you bin immediately. Foaming agent convince yourself that the shampoo is doing its job but actually we're literally burning our hair. Now that you own the right shampoo, it's time to learn how to use it properly.
Have you ever noticed that hairdressers never ever use shampoo directly to your hair? They that a tiny bit of it, mix it with some water and then they apply it only onto your scalp. This technique will allow you to clean only where it's needed (your scalp), prevent dry and split ends and of course, save money because you're diluting your shampoo. Less is more!
If your hair is not dyed, we highly suggest using Rhassoul Clay as a shampoo treatment one time a week maximum. We know it's sound weird and unusual but trust us you'll never regret it.
For short/medium length hair, mix 40gr with approximately 70ml water, then apply to the hair. Once in the shower, start gradually adding water as you massage the emulsion over the head and hair. Keep adding water until the hair is free of clay. Towel dry then comb through. There is no need to apply conditioner as the hair is conditioned by the clay.
Oils are good for your hair!
